— What is the difference between RVS and other antifriction additives to oils and grease?
There are several types of antifriction additives to the oils and grease, which can be by some indexes compared to RVS-products we produce. They are:
- Metal-plating additives
- Metal conditioners.
- Polymeric (teflon, etc.).
- Additives, containing minerals (graphite, molybden, diamond, etc.).
The basic differences from RVS of such additives are following:
- RVS doesn't dissolve in oils and other oil products.
- RVS doesn't change any indexes of lubricating materials themselves.
- RVS interact with friction surfaces only, forming metal-ceramic protective layer on it, not a film.
- RVS do not require new portion of it to be added at every oil changing.
RVS allows to solve several problems simultaneously — to decrease working clearances, to strengthen surfaces, to decrease friction etc.
— What is the probability of purchasing imitations of RVS?
Sorry to say, there are quite a lot of falsified products at the market.
We consider the imitation of RVS not only products, containing name “РВС” or “RVS”, but also products, which contain description analogical to RVS-technology, but do not correspond to that by their real indexes.
These products appear in the market under different trade-names, but accompanied by the description, which is a copy of RVS description developed and applied by ZAO “NPC Ruspromremont”.
Products under the names different from RVS, but with references to cooperating with us are also present. Using our name and presenting us as someone's partner is in wide practice at the service market last time.
As the quality of services and products supplied by the manufactures of the imitations is far from being perfect ( we did not ever meet up till now imitations or analogical products having quality close to our at least, and furthermore, quality of such products doesn't correspond to description of their manufacturers themselves) we consider the presence of them in the market undermining our authority severely and discredits the idea of applying geoactivators for solving the questions of tribotechnique itself.
As we can know more than 40!!! types of products are present in the market of Russian Federation, which have descriptions similar to that of RVS.
We are sorry to say, but existing juridical system doesn't allow efficiently and effectively enough to solve questions of protecting the rights in cases of such violations.
That is why we strongly recommend to request (before acquiring goods or services) presenting proper certificates and documents. All our partners or representatives have special certificates confirming their right to perform services or to sell goods.
— What are the properties of the surfaces after they are treated with RVS?
Metal-ceramic layers (MKZS), being formed on the friction surfaces have unique properties which are not accessible while applying other additives:
- MKZS consists whole unit with the metal, on which it has been formed.
- MKZS does not spall under no conditions while friction pairs are in working order under no conditions
- MKZS has possibility to grow above surface on which it has been formed up to the value optimal for concrete conditions.
- MKZS growth is regulated by the system itself.
- MKZS has much more resources, than metals, on which it has been formed.
MKZS is a mono-crystal and has a roughness of high class, which can be achieved with the help of polishing, and this in considerable degree decrease friction coefficient, increase spot of true working contact, and thus decrease specific loadings on the working surface.
— Do I need to re-apply RVS at every oil change in aggregate?
When change of oil or grease used in aggregate is regular, there is no need to add RVS. We recommend to perform repeated treatments applying RVS after warranty expired only. As a rule warranty period for keeping formed protective layers MKZS is twice or triple as long as the working resource of the majority of oils and/or greasing applied.
There are the examples of the warranty periods for RVS-technology:
- Car engines using oils produced in Russian Federation — not less than 50 thousand km;
- Car engines using oils produced out of Russian Federation — not less than 80 thousand km.
— If mechanism is still in excellent order what use can one get from applying RVS-technology?
When applied to new aggregate or aggregate kept in excellent mode, RVS-technology allows considerably prolong it working resource keeping its indexes in the limits of those indicated in the certificate. Besides that, as it became known from practice, such aggregates begin to work with better economical indexes regarding energy (fuel) consumption, oils, etc.
— Can RVS-technology be helpful while exploiting mechanisms in emergency mode?
There are no doubts about it, since wear resistance of ferrosilicate surfaces formed is valuably higher than that of the overwhelming majority of structural steels and alloys.
Examples of such wear resistance are numerous registered events of aggregates treated with RVS-technology continued working after having completely lost oil (grease) in internal combustion engines, reducers, bearings, etc.
Internal combustion engine suffered disruption over a stone in a wood and lost all its oil in full. After that the car, carrying three passengers and cottage equipment, reached home under its own power, and this distance was about 140 km! The next day the car under its own power was delivered to technical service station, and this distance was about 10 km over the city (Saint-Petersburg).
These examples are numerous while our activity is performing.
Besides that, we and many of our partners and representatives carry out special show-demonstration of different aggregates (having been treated with RVS-technology) working with no presence of oils and/or grease at all.
— Can RVS-technology be helpful while exploiting aggregates under severe climatic conditions?
We strictly recommend to perform treatment of mechanisms working under conditions of high or low temperatures, dustiness, etc.
Effect got from RVS treatment is determined by unique properties of protective layer MKZS which is formed in the process. This layer is capable to endure temperature loads much higher than usual structural steels are capable. It does not spall or exfoliate even when there is sharp temperature drop. Presence of grease is not obligatory if aggregate is put into work under low temperatures that is why such aggregates are normally put into work in spite of any frost.
Its hardness reaches the values next to the special alloyed fusions, which allows enough successfully and for a long time to work at the presence of abrasives (dust).
